Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The greatest present to ever serve the United States. He stood up and decided to fix the problem instead of throwing money to businesses hoping to fix the problem, like so many failure Presidents in history. He opened the door to Fireside chats, greatly increasing the press involvement in the US, which historically in world history shows more press involvement and oversight leads to a stronger democracy.

He invested in people, and created organizations that advanced the culture, industry, and technology of the United States. He had the one of the hardest tasks of a President, he saved the nation.

The best at what? depends upon whether your referring to domestic policy, foreign policy, telling lies (under oath as opposed to on National Television, for instance..)abuse of power, secrecy.,peoples rights. and a whole lot more....Pick a subject, and I'm sure there will be a President that's better at it than the others

Clearly, if we are talking about the largest positive impact on the world as a whole, it would have to be Reagan.

Those people that consistently put JFK at the top of their list baffle me. What impact, exactly did JFK. I will grant him this...he was the best at stopping bullets with his head.
