no error message shows. nothing is different. just no sound plays. followed troubleshooting steps but didn't work. Any ideas?

Have you turned the sound to mute? That's what I did once, I went out and bought new speakers too! then I discover the sound was just turned down. D'OH! Go to your control panel and then go to sounds and audio devices. It has an icon with a speaker on it.

Reload drivers from manufacturer/cd

click on the speaker icon in your tray and un click the MUTE on the properties card....

maybe no speaker :))

just kidding, please check if you have installed soundcard driver . sound onboard still need driver ( can find driver in the cd comes with sound card or mainboard

Just install correct driver and plug the speaker correctly .

TURN THE SOUND ON . YOU MIGHT HAVE IT MUTED OR TURNED ALL THE WAY DOWN.
