Personally, I think record holders don't get paid for breaking records.

I do not believe they actually get an amount, they just get the satisfaction that they are the only person or group in the world that can complete their amazing act or talent. They get their name in the book which I guess is cool.

They also get a certificate to prove that they set a record.

they do not get anything, except a mention in the Guinness books.

amount of what...money....I don't think they get any only if their picture is taken.
