This who we have been. Note the time frame.

Australopithecus ramidus - 5 to 4 million years BCE
Australopithecus afarensis - 4 to 2.7 million years BCE
Australopithecus africanus - 3.0 to 2.0 million years BCE
Australopithecus robustus - 2.2 to 1.0 million years BCE
Homo habilis - 2.2 to 1.6 million years BCE
Homo erectus - 2 to 0.4 million years BCE
Homo sapiens - 400,000 to 200,000 years BCE
Homo sapiens neandertalensis - 200,000 to 30,000 years BCE
Homo sapiens sapiens - 130,000 years BCE to present

Man has not changed appreciably in about 400,000 years.

We have not changed much in the next 400,000 years, either, since enviromental and food factors are not a stress anymore - that's not to say things won't change via wars etc.
However, with an increase in background radiation in everyday life, I believe that anyone with an inate resistance to cancers caused by radiation will have an increased chance of having offspring, since they are less likely to develop cancer, leukaemia etc in childhood. This is, in fact, evolution, without actually becoming a new species.

Yes, human beings are animals, and all animals, by Darwin's theory of evolution, will evolve to adapt to changing environments. Human beings are changing the world very rapidly, so humans will have to adapt to cope with those changes. The human brain is evolving, and becoming more intelligent, because today's society focuses more on intellectual matters than in ancient times, when it was all about "eat or be eaten" or "survival of the fittest." Eventually, in the far future, humans will evolve into a new species. It is impossible for us to stay the same forever and highly unlikely that we will go extinct, considering our dominance of this planet.

This may sound stupid, but I think to really answer that question, you have to define at what point does something truly evolve. And you can't do that until you clearly define where the line is drawn that dictates when something is different enough to be called a new species.

These are all words and it's all relative. Just like Pluto was once called a planet. Now it's labeled as a moon, and many people are talking about it as if they always new it WAS a moon when in fact, you can call it anything you want but it doesn't change that it's a huge object in space.

All animals humans being no exception, are in a constant state of adaption and mutation, as changes become either beneficial or detrimental to the animal's survival the slow process of evolving into an entirely new species occurs. Therefore, humans will inexorably evolve into a new form more apt to their future environment.

We have evolved and may evolve again. Over a time frame, we will all have bigger foreheads, larger eyes, less hair, a very straight posture, and the average height for men will be 7'4'' and women's average height will be 6'10''.

Basically, we'll look like aliens from the future in accordance with the UFO's from other places.

Ever think that aliens are actually the supreme evolved species of man who have traveled back in time? Hmmm...

of course! all species continue to evolve through each generation as various genes are combined (which excludes Alabama). evolution is by definition a dynamic process. Part of the common mistake that is made by the people who deny its existence is an inability the see that they are different than their own parents, just as you are different than your own parents. If humans did not continue to evolve, then it would not be possible to changing circumstances such as global warming or cooling.

we've not have been given any thank you to properly known if understanding and self understanding have or have not greater interior the oceans. in the event that they did, what says that an aquatic thought of civilization could tournament our very own? without being waiting to hire fire, any underwater civilization could advance in a incredibly diverse way than we did. We additionally won't be able to assert how stunning or unsurprising the form of intelligence is. Intelligence is basically one trait that could desire to be chosen for in evolution. even with each and everything, each and each of the mind interior the international won't do any reliable in case you haven't any longer have been given the palms to construct issues you think of up with. Or once you're so puny which you get eaten before you advance the potential to shield your self against different predators. We certainly lucked out interior the cosmic lottery in that regard.

No, not a new species, we will just continue to evolve physically and mentally as is necessary to adapt and live as our planet changes/evolves.

My idea would be that we would all be butts and hands with a brain sitting on top. If we all keep sitting on the computer and driving instead of walking we don't need legs. We just need our hands to use the keyboard. If we keep taking pills instead of food we won't need our mouth just a small little hole to pop the pills into. Our eyes will be square... the shape of our screens. We will all be one color... sort of a dirty dishrag color because of the mixing of the races. Because of all the toxins in the world and the chemicals in the food we will all lose our hair.
