The biggest change the net brought to the world was it made it a much smaller place to live in. People from around the world could suddenly and instantly communicate for free. No more spending $3 just to send a letter overseas. Today you can pop in a chat room, IRC, IM or other means or just email people all over the world.

The net has revolutionized software and the way to distribute it. Today you can download everything you need for OSS platforms like Linux or BSD. Even closed money hungry companies like Microsoft provide large amounts of software for free on the net.

The net has opened the door for political and religious groups to reach out to billions instead of thousands. It has quickened social change as people are exposed to far more than the people they work and live with. Today they can talk to anybody who is also on the net. People with unusual interests are not so isolated any more. They find out there are thousands of others with the same interests.

A whole new economic model that serves the world not small portion of a city now exists.

It is changing how music is made and people's tastes in music. Until recently the only music was what a small group of record companies chose to force the public to listen too. Today indie artists are collaborating with other musicians all over the world and putting their music out there for free sometimes. Older groups dropped by the record companies continue to make and distribute music over the net. People instead of going to a record store go to Indie sites and places like Apple's Ipod site to buy their music.

The net has dramatically increased people's access to knowledge. In the old days before the net what you knew came from what books you could physically possess at least long enough to read them. If you wanted an obscure fact you might spend days going through books to find that fact. Today it's availible with a quick type into a search engine. Not always as reliable, but errors existed in books as well. With the net research has dropped dramatically. The cost and time to do research is significantly less. Many writers for papers for example use almost nothing but the net for research on topics.

The net has been good for the environment. Mountains of paperwork are no long needed as information is sent in emails and downloads rather than shipped as paper or faxed between people. People are able to look up information imediately before leaving without having to drive around and search. So they know what kind of resteraunt, where it is at or what movie theatre is playing what and go strait there.

The net is also changing language. Because of the predominence of English speakers more people world wide are learning written English than ever before. English itself is dramatically changing. Words from other languages are being introduced. There is more reason for English speakers to learn other languages to talk to people all over the world. English is also going through a dramatic change in spelling. Words are being shortened to create faster typing and present more information on less screen real estate. Computer jargon is making it's way into common vocabulary. Net terms are being applied to non computer situations.

As with all things the Net has it's dark side as well. Terrorists, child molesters and other evil people are better able to do what they do because of the net. Just as the net helps the good guys it also helps the bad guys.

Do you need a specific article? If I were ehr, Id do google search for the "first internet newscast" from 1992. There are many reports on how people were using it. Compare to how minimal the use was when the internet first came on the scene, to right now, when you just used yahoo answers to get the answer to your sister's homework

in case you stay in Egypt, flow inclusive of your I.D. (el rakam el kawmy) to the police station next on your position. they have a particular area for this count. it will take 2 days. i propose your dad is going with you with the former passport. Have with you passport pictures with a white history. in case you stay in yet another usa, flow to the nearest Egyptian embassy or consulate and they're going to have the approaches carried out in about 5 operating days.
