Rabbits are very curious and love to chew/eat anything.
I have had rabbits consume plastic, cardboard, paper; anything that they can somehow seem to grab hold of and pull through their cage, even when I felt it was far enough away from their grasp, but obviously not.

Rabbits that eat something along these lines are more than likely going to be fine, as long as it does not bind up their system.
Make sure you watch closely that for the next few days bunny still passes normal fecal pellets and continues to eat and drink as normal. Any changes in this will indicate a problem that you will need to address ASAP.

Higher fiber/addition to extra fiber in a rabbits diet helps to "keep things flowing" in their digestion system. If not already feeding grass hay regularly, start adding some to bunny's diet. The fiber and strands of grass hay helps to prevent blockage in the digestive system.
If grass hay is not an option or available, offer some pumpkin pie filling (from the can). Excellent source of fiber when in a bind.

When all else fails or is not working, seek a rabbit knowledgeable vet immediately.

It could cause problems and it may not. You're lucky it wasn't a real Christmas tree. The needles off evergreens normally will kill most animals. Plastic can kill animals as well, but normally only if it gets caught up in their digestive tract.

Your rabbit should be fine provided the plastic of the tree doesn't get caught up in her digestive tract and cause a problem.

It could be really bad for her. Try to get her to eat as much haas possible to get the fake tree to go through her.
Check her poops and if they are less than usual, pkease take her to a vet in the morning.
