I don't think they are full of scumbags... There are some that do really good things and donate money or time for good causes or back to the community. The rest are scumbags.

It's the scumbags that get the ESPN time though and you hear nothing about the good ones.

I agree though that salaries have gotten way out of hand. And I'm a Yankee fan. At some point, there's got to be a limit though.
Even the Yankees have back pedalled a little bit going for some of the younger (and cheaper) guys instead of the proven (and more expensive) ones.

The Scumbags stick out more in the media becasue the Media chooses to focus on them...and of course when your on live TV and throwing a Sucker punch and running after he does it shows cowardness....and as far as TO goes...The Spitting was not caught on Camera...so how does anyone know...becasue TO decides to tell the Media...he is an Attention whore...if the Media would say ok TO thats nice keep on walking To would die off ...he is a dying Breed...and he will no be in the league much longer another 3 years tops and no one will want him...he will be up in Canada or Arena league where the press is less and he amounts to ****.

pro sports are filled with scumbags, but they are also filled with alot of great people. there area lot that give to charity, and even volenteer. alot are true humanitarians but the media always seem to like to focus on the scumbags that like to whine and spit on people.
