What would you suggest after shaving public hair. I did not get red bumps, but my area is extra sensative now. I did not shave all of it, and did not get a smooth shave the first time, should I shave again? Is there anything that might help bring down the sensetivity? I have tried mosturizer and baby powder, what can else I do?

I think you should stop shaving for a few days. Apply a mild antiseptic cream on the affected area after your shower.
.
Though many may not agree, I would strongly advise against a total shaving of pubic hair, as the hair serves a useful purpose designed by nature. The alternative to total shaving is to carefully trim the hair with a good sterile pair of scissors, as much as you can comfortably do so. Then you can use a beard trimmer or nose hair trimmer to snip off any irregular hairs.
This process surely would take more time than simply shaving. You also avoid possibility of infection like ingrown hair, rough ends of new hair growth, etc. Keeping the area clean also is easy with shorter pubic hair, and the hair in fact helps in aeration of the area. Try it out for yourself.

Eh, shaving that area is tricky...you have to make a routine that works for you.

The best cheap product is Bikini Zone that is sold at drugstores by the shaving cream/nair. It is a miracle.

Try rubbing some alcohol on it afterwards or astringent.

I usually nair down there first, then h op in the shower with the nair on, rinse off and shave everything that it didnt get...the nair softens your skin up for the razor.

I used to have the same thing happen when i used a 1 or 2 blade razor..try a 3or 4 blade, much smoother, takes less time and doesn't sting afterwards..invest in a good shaving cream or gel, soap and water just won't work down threre..you will understand when you cut yourself..ouch
