A woman with a fairly normal cycle of 28-30 days will ovulate 12-14 days after the start of her last period. To be sure, there are a variety of over-the-counter tests that will determine your most fertile time. In order to catch that highly fertile moment, begin using the test about 7-9 days after the start of your period. Once the test determines you are ovulating, you should attempt to conceive for the next three days. Once or twice a day is best - the sperm count tends to greatly reduce if you try more often than that.
Hope this helps - this method worked for us EVERY time!
Good luck!

Start looking (about 10-14 days after the first day of your period) for a clear, rubbery, slippery, egg white like substance in your vagina. This is when you are ovulating. You are fertile the day before, the day of, and the day after ovulation.

You can't be sure. If you want to have a child, try having sex every 2-4days. If you don't want a kid all you can do is use a condom and spermicide.
