here is a general rule about diapers- newborns should be wetting their diapers 9-10 times a day which comes out to about 70 diapers a week, and they should be soiling their diapers about 1 time a day. Now if you buy a pack of 80 diapers it is about $22 and that should get you through the week.

Then it all depends on the formula. My baby takes Similac Alimentum and that only makes 19 bottles and goes for $25.00 dollars a can. Can we say Expensive!? He goes through that in 4 days, so about $200 a month for formula.

i don't have a 6-12 month old so i too still have yet to find out!

And my baby doesn't have insurance so the cost of that is 1,000 for reviving him in the hospital, $2,000 for me in the hospital (i have insurance) $200 for his circumcision. Then for his first well visit it was $75 and every sick visit was $40. It may be different according to your area. But i really don't know the final cost b.c my baby is 3 months but i have already spent a ton of money on doctors.

Those are good Questions. I have a 2 year old and another one on the way. Formula alone will cost you a month, $1,600 a month and that's Enfamil with Lipil. That's what my son was on. He drank 4 cans a week equaling $40.00 a week. But it's different when they are first newborns because they have to eat every 2 hours. So, newborns formula about $2,000 a month. Alone on formula. I learned that Costco you can get it cheaper. $40.00 for a tall can of Enfamil that will last a little bit longer than a week.
Then ontop of Formula, you gotta buy food. That will be about $200.00 a month just on things that the baby needs. Not including your personal food.
Diapers I get at Costco and then are for newborns, $40.00 for a box and $25.00 for a box of baby wipes that will last you about 3 weeks. There are like 200 diapers in a box. And you use 8 diapers a day. It really is cheaper if you get your diapers at costco or sams club.
If you don't have Insurance, You first gotta pay for your Labor and Delivery bill. That all depends on what happens when you deliver. If you have a normal delivery and nothing goes wrong, your looking at about $10,000 probably. Then you gotta pay also for the care and doctor bills just for your baby while it's in the hospital. That's a way lot. For instance, my two nephews were born with major problems. Isaak was $250,000 for his doctor bill just in the hospital after birth. Then Caleb was born and was $40,000. It's all different. I don't really know how much it costs for the doctors for the first year. It all depends on if your baby is healthy or if something tragic happens at it gets cancer or something. But lets say that it's complete healthy, your looking at around $1,000 for the first month. So probably like 4 thousand a year for doctor visits. And that just if it's healthy. And you just go to check ups. Which you have to go to aklot that 1st year. Well good luck. Basically im saying, if your not financially ready, don't get pregnant. Birth control is sooooo much cheaper. What, $20.00 a month???

Well.... I can only answer the first question about the diapers.
My newborn daughter goes through a whole small pack of diapers in a week... so... I would say, about 100. Sorry I can't answer the other questions since she is only a month old and she doesn't drink formula all the time.
