I have some experience on both sides of the fence. Rich people who have always been rich cannot imagine life without the ability to afford anything they want or need. Rich people who got that way by their own efforts want to put distance between themselves and the poor who don't have the energy or devotion to getting rich that they did. The rich and the poor don't think or feel the same way about their lives. Poor people are mostly trying to get by whatever way they can. Rich people don't want to think that they can't control their environment.
The person that said that the middle classes mucks up everything - - I'd have agreed with you at one time, but they're disappearing rapidly and when there's hardly any left, we'll find a true breakdown in societies. They are the glue that holds society together.

I don't think that rich & poor people don't get on well with each other, I think that there are not really opportunities for them to interact that are not professional, i.e. the lower income population is usually serving the higher end in some manner or another.
There are, however, many differences in personality that can be attributed to the two groups disagreeing on so many things. Rich people who have become rich are more apt to see the world as an opportunity for everyone to achieve, and the poor more often see it as an unfair place that they can never get ahead. I don't know who's right (although I lean towards "anyone can acheive anything if they work) but I know this is a major separation in philosophies.
What would a person complaining about his boss and how mean he/she is have to talk to with someone who just worked his *** off to close a million dollar deal? Not much. So I don't think they "don't get along well, I think they have nothing in common.

its what they call PRIDE! A lot of times wealthy people are unhappy, but yet they dont want to stoop down to a poor person's level. Poor people know whats it's like to be poor and they wish sometimes that they could be rich. Wealthy people dont have as many friends who truly care about them because they they want to talk about is what they can get out of life, or more money....Poor people are a lot happier, because even though they struggle, they still always make it!

er.... sleeping beauty! the prince didnt think she was a princess! beauty and the beast! they are opposites! but aside of fairy tales,i dont know! the thing is some people have the misconception that money is everything.....i dont have loads of money, but i am rich in family and friends!also since time began there was always a plan that someone would have to belittle someone else to feel good, so maybe it is because there are some insecure people? or maybe it was their parents!? some people are good and some are not so much, so its always going to cause trouble, just try to be a good one! x

i'm not confident what you recommend with the help of that truth. The detrimental are continually lower than attack with the help of the rich with the help of the low wages paid. with the help of the regulations exceeded to learn the rich and positioned the detrimental at a draw back. with the help of the justice equipment that enables robber barons to bypass unpunished and a petty thief to do time. The detrimental would reveal or have protest rallies which could not type conflict the conflict is waged with the help of the rich

It's the opposite personalities that attract, not the opposite sides of the economic spectrum.

Sorry to be totally sexist but rich ugly blokes seem to attract incredibly sexy women. They would never get a second look if they were poor.

The "opposites attract" theory has to do with opposite PERSONALITIES attracting, not social classes. Unless you are solely attracted to someone for their income, which is scary...

they dont understand each other. The rich doesnt understand the concept of saving since they are brought up spending with much gusto and to poor cant grasp the concept of splurging since they are brought up saving every bit of money.
