You are correct.

Also, women can suddenly menstruate all over the voting forms, ruining everything.

I used to think so.

Now, I'm having second thoughts.

Women and men think differently, and it definitely affects how they vote.

Traditionally, men enjoy independence and self reliance, while women are conditioned (and rightly so) to be dependent on men for their provision and protection.

The problem with that is that women tend to vote for more government control and more laws, and a female's concept of liberty is not the same as what men envisage.

Men want less interference by government agents and fewer laws, hence more freedom.

Women are usually shielded from violence, so they don't realize the actual consequences of some of their votes.

Men, on the other hand, grow up fist fighting in the school yard, playing football, and many go to war or become crimefighters on the street, so men better comprehend the long term consequences of some legislative acts or bureaucratic fiats.

This discussion brings to mind the old saying:

"Be careful what you ask for - - - You might get it."

It is well known that women will indeed vote for the best looking man, simply because of how he combs his hair or demonstrates affection, and professional politicians take this into account when campaigning.

When I first married, I was surprised to hear my new bride opine that if she voted, her vote would cancel mine, and therefore she shouldn't vote.

At the time, I didn't agree, and urged her to go ahead and vote.

But, does a wife's vote negate that of her husband's?

I wonder?

Women should definitely vote. yes although we can be emotional but that doesn't mean that it's bad. It's proven that women are a better multi-tasker than man. When we vote we always see things in different angle. Our votes is very important because despite all the politics, corruption, unethical things happening... women always balance it out with their sense of humanity. Women has always been intelligent and now with voting they can show the world they can fight for their rights.

I think maybe you shouldn't be allowed to vote if you think that way. When I vote, I don't vote straight party, I go online and see how the candidates have voted and break it down until I figure out who I like. Usually, it is not the person in office.

By the way, I have an IQ of 147, and am working on my third degree.

If you have enough of an inferiority complex that you think you're too weak and emotional then the answer is simple - don't vote. Don't deny the vote to those who don't think they're like that though.

90% women have quality to be politician. They can pretend what they are not and they are clever.I am not saying anything about smartness.Men try to give women every right possible just to get their votes.I do not think we are ready to accept woman as our president yet.But women should vote so that they do not loose (more than equal) rights they got with voting power.

You are very mistaken, my dear Mary. In many major university studies over a period of several years it has been proven over and over that women have naturally high IQ's than men. Yes, we are quite emotional, but isn't that what makes us wonderful!!
