Looking for women's boots?

I'm looking for a pair of black women's boots but want something that's not obviously female instead it would look ok on a guy for a slightly feminine goth look(no high heels!). I'm a size 8 UK and wonder what size I should look out for women's boots.

I would try Nordstrom they have awesome boots for women. I'm not sure what size that would be but they have sizing charts on their websites. Nordstrom also has live online chats where salespeople can help you find exactly what you are looking for. They have great service and I've been very happy with what I buy there.
