Does the Irani government give any power to its people? Do they trust their people? Or do they not trust their people at all and think that mankind is inherintly evil?

There is no specific national concept of mankind in Iran or for that matter in any country. Every country has good and bad people. It is the leaders who matter and the national concept depends on them. I don't think Irani Government gives any power to the people.

Iran is a democratic country where Governments are elected by people. Irani nation is united. In every society there are good and evil people. Problem is that it is resisting on some issues where present Government thinks that it is being subject to discriminating treatment. A detailed study of Iran will help you to have better understanding of issue.
