The Stores May Not Have It Now, But They Should Have Shipments.. actually, Shipments Today..
I'm Betting They're All Sold Out Now, But Here's A Tip: Don't Just Go Store To Store And Check If It's In Stock That Day..
Now That The System Has Just Released, Many Will Want To Get Their Hands On It.. Meaning As Of This Holiday Season (and maybe up to early next year), There Won't Be Any Wii Consoles In Stock On The Shelves That You Can Just Walk In And Buy It..
What I Suggest Is To Continuously Contact Your Local Stores On When To Expect A Next Shipment Will Come..
And While You're At It, Don't Be Shy In Asking If You Can Reserve One..
If All Else Fails And You Cannot Find One In Stock And Don't Know When They Will Get A New Shipment, Try Getting A Gift Card Worth $250.. That's The Price For The System Alone, Which Includes The System, Plugs, Controller And 'Wii Sports' Game.. Also Try Adding To The Gift Card So He Can Get A Game Or Accessory For His Wii..
And The Best Gift Card To Get For Him:
This Wii Gift Card From Target (1)..
Ordering Online Only Goes $200 And $500, Not $250, But I Remember Seeing Target Advertise A $250 Gift Card For Those Who Cannot Find A Wii..
Hope To Help, And If You Need Any Additional Help, Don't Hesitate To Contact Me!

You can ask the stores when their next shipments are. Some people are still camping out. Also, I'm sure they're still on eBay but that's a more expensive route. You could also consider buying a gift card for a game store or Target, and then get the games for him.

Target gets the shipments of the wiis every friday and so do most other retail stores. Best bet is to call the stores and they should have an idea as to when they will be coming.
good luck

They are really hard to find, if you don't want to camp out when a store gets a shipment in, your only real best bet is ebay. You might also try a site like http://www.theultimatepokerguide.com which is running a raffle for a Wii.
But right now, they are REALLY hard to find.

No, you may basically use a recreation dice controller for recreation dice video games, because it has buttons the classic controller would not. besides the indisputable fact that, recreation dice controllers may be picked up for kind of £5/$10 at an section recreation shop or someplace like Amazon. desire this facilitates, Tom.

You can do what I am doing and try to get a Wii for free. These places that have the free incentive offers to get the Wii seem to have them in stock and are shipping them. It requires you to complete one offer (for free or a small amount of money) and then get 10 other people to also complete one offer. Once done, they ship the Wii to you. It will not ship in time for Christmas, but (a) you can get it and (b) it wont cost you much, if anything.

I think that Ebay is your best bet. Most of them include games and extra controllers that are also sold out everywhere.

The only shot you have is to go to Amazon.com before midnight tonight (PST) and enter their drawing for a chance to buy one. You must have a previous amazon acct and credit card on file.

well you could go to a game place like game crazy and ask when the get restocked. Then ask if they'll put it on hold when they get another shipment.
