could be because of lack of sleep, or too much sugar/caffeine.
I know it sometimes happens to me when i drink energy drinks or after pulling off an all-nighter. You should probably get some sleep and drink water/tea.

Try this. Relax in a quiet place, either sitting or lying down while your eye is twitching. Take a deep breath and let it out on a count of 3. Do that about 4 more times. Check the eye. Has the twitching stopped or decreased in frequency. Try the deep breathing again, but don't try to hyperventilate.

If this works, and temporarily stops the twitching, then check out www.hufa.org, especially the symptoms page. This may be a symptom of low blood sugar. It could also mean a vitamin B deficiency or other things as well.

Eye twitching is generally related to A) Stress, B)Fatigue, or C) too much Caffiene. Don't stress out, sleep enough, and cut your caffiene intake. Personally, I was going through this and found it was caffiene overdose. Drastically cutting my caffiene intake stopped it. Just 'dry out' on caffiene for a couple days. Also keeping your eyes lubricated has been suggested as helpful.

I don't know if you wear contacts, but if you don't disinfect them properly, that habit could be the culprit, along with stress and waaay too much time on the computer.

One drop each of battery acid in each pupil should certainly stop the twitching...
