Yup. I'm atheist, but I respect various religions I come across. Religion itself hasn't done anything to me at all. It's a book, a tenet, a belief. People on the other hand, are the ones I may or may not respect. If people are polite, I have no problem.
If people are nice only until they hear I disagree, then turn nasty, no, I don't respect them at all. But since religion is a thing, not something that can actively hurt me, I can respect it.

Of course every one has the right to their own beliefs and customs and any one who thinks this is false is sort of a hypocrite to expect people to respect their religion while dissing others religions.

Yes, of course, you have to be tolerant at all times, although you just see stupidity or nonsense in that religion you dont have to be rude to the persons who has those beliefs.
