That is right if you have a 28 day cycle. You will need to count from your first day of your period to day 14 and start trying around day 11 or 12 and a couple of days after day 14 to make sure you get it. Even if you do have sex around ovulation, it could still take several months to conceive.

It depends. All women are different. I don't ovulate until later on in my cycle. Some women ovulate earlier than mid cycle.
The best thing to do is look for signs with your own body - you will notice changes with your cervical mucus and temperature if you observe them properly. Cervical mucus becomes stringy like egg white around the time of ovulation. This is easy to monitor as it gets stickier over a few days. Charting temperature involves using a very sensitive thermometer that you can buy from pharmacies.

If u have a regular 28 day cycle u should ovulate 14 days from the start of your period, so have sex 12 days after, then on the 14th then on the 16th. too much sex will make him have fewer swimmers, and sperm can live inside of you for about 24 hrs usually. to be certain when u ovulate u can get an ovulation test from a pharmacy for under 10 bucks

it is usually about 14-15 days after your period, but everyone is different, you can start taking your temp everyday, and when it is a bit higher than normal chances are you are ovulating

everyone is different. i had my period on the first of September and my boyfriend and i conceived at the end of the month causing a lot of confusion. it turns out that i was actually two weeks behind in the pregnancy than the 'norm' would have been. my friend and her boyfriend are ttc and they've been mapping it out to when shes supposed to be ovulating and nothing...so its good to try around that time but you never know!
Good luck :)
oh, and people who are preaching about being married, i didnt think its your business to say things like that. everyone has their reasons for not being married.

its different with each woman, and depends on how long her cycle is, how regular she is, when when her body just decides to ovulate.
The average for a 28 day cycle is day 14. Day one is the first day of your period.

Wait til you are married so that your child can have the best life possible.
It is proven that children born out of wedlock have less sucess in life to those who are born to two MARRIED adults.
