There is a BIG difference between taking "too much" calcium and taking calcium with medications. If you want to solve your acid reflux problem, then realistically you should seek methods that help to heal the problem naturally using your body to help in conjunction with food, herbs ans vitamins/minerals. If you just want to mask the problem and stop the irritation but not work towards healing then keep on the medications. The correct diet, supplements and such do NOT have the "list of side effects" that most prescriptions have so weigh the options. Your body CAN and DOES heal IF you help it out instead of interfering with the process. SPend about 30 minutes searching online and you can save yourself alot of trouble down the road.

Why would you take both medicine AND nutritional supplements for the same thing?
Calcium is best absorbed with vitamin D, but it works well with magnesium, also.
I have what is called a Hyper Acidic Digestive Tract (HADT). My Mother craved lemonaide when she was pregnant with me. In addition to the HADT, I also have what is known as a Geographic Tongue.
Too much acid in my body, & eating more acidic things upsets my internal balance.
Cal/mags neutralizes & balances my body ph; adjusting it back to a more alkaline state.
When a person is sick, they are more acidic than they should be. Keeping the body in a more alkaline state helps prevent sickness.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

it's not. but one thing you must concern about is when you take calcium, increase your water input than usual. it's in order to prevent bladder or kidney calculi (like stone). so if you drink a lot, it will prevent the formation of those calculi.
