That’s so we can have binocular vision and depth perception, meaning we can tell how far away objects are without having to move our heads from side to side. It also gives us a better appreciation for beauty, being able to see perspective.

Helps in depth perception and judging distance

Very difficult to do this with one eye

in order to see distances. You really need two or more eyes in order to perceive depth.
