The potato will not shrivel nor expand. The concentration will be the same on the inside as it on the outside. this means that there will be no net movement and no diffusion.

isotonic means the concentration is the same as the cells in the potato (equilibrium).
As there is equal amounts of free water on either side of the solution and inner cells there is no net gain or loss over the semi permeable membranes.
Therefore the mass and lenght of the potato piece stays the same as before you put it in solution

I can't remember if isotonic is salty or not salty but think osmosis.
