I always see chicken and beef in restaurants and grocery stores. Is there a possibility that we are eating rooster and bulls ? If not what is done with them.

Certainly. (Although male cattle that are to be used for food are usually neutered/castrated early in life, and we call them ‘steers’ It makes their beef more tender.) But bulls can certainly be slaughtered, as well as roosters. It doesn’t do anything for their tenderness to leave them till they are old and lean. Usually, a prudent farmer will watch his livestock and make plans to rotate his studs. If a particular male is exceptionally healthy or produces good offspring, the farmer may wait to be sure one or more of them is ready to take over the job.

Male cows and chickens destined for the table are typically neutred, so no, you're not going to eat a rooster, you'll eat a capon. You won't eat a bull, you'll eat a steer.

When I worked in a beef packing plant, we butchered both heifers and bulls so the answer would be that you may be eating boy beef or girl beef. As for the chicken, I would assume that it is the same.
