Goldfish lay eggs so they don't become pregnant but there is a name for it though which is a twit.

Gold fish do not get pregnant, they lay eggs.

goldfish don't get pregnant... They just carry unfertilized eggs until they get fertilized externally for most fish (livebearer not included)...
the term is ripe,or gravid.
