The famous sociologist Erick Fromm in one of his book tells us about the human heart. He has this theory: the person who is attached to objects, like cars, property, devices and money is a person that is inclined toward death and he seems like dictator.
On the other hand, the person who is attached to friendship, love and erotic is a person that loves life and he seems like saint.
The first person is determined with his karma and the second is free like bird. The first person may be called succesfull person and even be respected in society and the second person may be called pervert and not responsible person because he lives as he likes.
of course, we do not have clear nature but some part of the first person and some part of the second person.
In one word: society likes to make us attached to object, responsible persons that make more money and make family; therefore society do not give us freedom.
Our human heart wants from us to enjoy life, to be forever young and not to worry

Society has made a Benchmark to measure what is or is not acceptable to or for society.....each and everyone of us is in that Benchmark somewhere....RESPECT....I believe is given to someone who deserves it..not someone who owns a large house, has 2.4 children, is successful in their job...because even they can show to the outside world a wrong impression..they might be someone with a hidden secret, behaves terribly towards his family...And as the saying goes...there is nothing free in this world....even when someone thinks they are an individual, can please themselves who or what they become...there is that little thing called a conscience that pops up from time to time that makes the human being reflect.
