unity day is celebrated on october 3. here in mannheim i know nothing happens. my neighbors pretty much have the day off and businesses are closed. why what are the suppose to do?

we are glad to be reunited and it is our only national day but we don't "celebrate" this day...
it's like a sunday... the stores are closed, no school.. but that's it
