Thats normal. Every baby has it's own timeline but in general they go through a growth spurt at six weeks , three months, six months and nine months...She/He will eat more often and require more one on one attention from you. The Increased appitite ussually only lasts 2-5 days.

From what I have read, they go through growth spurts at 2 weeks, somewhere between 4-6 weeks, then one again at 3 months. So, since she is 3 months, it sounds like it is her growth spurt.

Just in case you're breastfeeding, when a baby goes through a growth spurt she may fuss at the breast and you may feel like she's not getting enough. When she fusses at the one, as if the milk flow has stopped, just switch her to the other. I remember spending all evening switching back and forth when my son was going through a growth spurt about that age. But don't worry, remember that milk is produced on demand, on the spot, and your milk supply will quickly catch up to her increased demand. Also remember you may need to increase your water intake to help increase that milk supply.

Every child is different, and thier habits will change alot between being a newborn to the age of 3yr. My daughter is 2yr and she has totally changed her eating habits from 6months ago, it's kind of weird but it's normal. Don't worry about it, as long as your child is healthy that's all that matters.
