It is definitely illegal to be drunk and drive.

It may be illegal to drink while driving in your state.

It is not illegal to own beer and drive.
Nearly everyone takes groceries, including beer, in their car.
Why should it make a difference if you pay for it at a drive-in window
?

The main reasons to avoid drive-in windows are:
(1) you are wasting gas waiting in a line of cars with the motor running.
(2) the odds that you will not count your change carefully are much higher, and the cashier knows this. Have you ever asked for a "price check" at the drive-in window? You may have noticed that prices are rarely on the products these days. It costs what the cashier tells you it costs. You have not seen the price on the shelf.

(3) Come on! you are fat or getting fat and need more exercise!

As long as the beer isn't opened and they are checking Id's, why not as long as the person isn't drinking it in their car.

I'm from SW Louisiana and we have several drive through places that you can get cokes, chips, candy bars, cigarettes, beer, etc...without ever leaving your car. You drive up, tell the cashier what you want and they will get it.

I'm not sure where you are, but here in Arkansas we have drive-thru liquor stores.

Why not. What is the difference if you paid for it in your vehicle or walked up and paid for it inside.
