Hi..okay...my boyfriend is 33 years old and I am 23 years old. We've been living together for approx 1.5 years. He is like jekkl and hyde I swear. We have times that are storybook worthy and then we have times where he blows up over little things. It is really bizarre but sometimes I feel like he over exaggerates things in his mind as if to sabotage our relationship. He says that he waits to see if a woman gets bitchy in a relationship because all of this past girlfriends were nice in the beginning and then became really mean. I guess sometimes I feel like I'm worthless...like I can't do anything right. So....is intolerance abuse? Is it normal to be calm one minute and then be frustrated for no reason? When he gets this way I grab his hand and tell him I'm not his enemy that I love him and I'm not looking to fight. I think he looks for me to become crappy with him. Weird. Maybe its a self preservation thing? Thank you :)

from what he says about his past girlfriends, it looks like he's waiting for you to do what they did. He's insecure as well and is probably lashing before yu do as a way of protecting himself.

Keep letting him know yu love him and you're there for him.

If it still continues then it would be a good idea to move on.

You can only take such behaviour and abuse for so long before you become damaged emotionally
