I mean I am not a waterboy for the man but he swore to defend the constitution of the U.S. And as far as his reasons for getting into war - only his cabinet members have the information on the reasons why we are involved. Not what you are being fed by people who want to put a slant on your knowlege. Yes the media, they are controlling what you get for info - the defense department gets their info from hard tactical facts.

Try being the President of the U.S. thesedays with all of the Liberal/Conservative bickering going on in one place and the terrorists planning to take down the U.S. in another place and all of the while you are trying to be as P/C as possible as not to offend anyone.

It seems to me that beeing President these days is like being a human microprocessor in a computer that made in hundreds of different countries.

I agree with your analysis of the job of President. I never blamed Bush for what is done in his name in this country or any other. I know that he isn't smart enough to do half of those things part-way, let alone all of them thoroughly with the level of genius and manipulation needed to carry it out. I just don't like him because I think that if yer gonna be President and essentially king of the free world you should be somewhat competent. But at least he knows he's an idiot. If Al Gore was elected, he would be shaking in his boots 24/7 but he'd still try to take the wheel. Brilliant man, but moronic politician. And don't get me started on John Kerry. Oy! Bush sits back and signs papers and occasionally reads a speech written by one of his speech writers when it's time to talk to the people. He knows he couldn't run the country, and that he isn't President on his own merit, so he keeps his mouth shut and does what he's told by his bosses.

Is there something seriously wrong with you? If what you say is true, why not just elect a dictator and let him to whatever he wants and you cacn say oh, but he's doing his best.

Bush is supposedly the most powerful man in the World and he has a duty to the people to get things right. If he can't do that why did he take the job? No one expects him to be perfect but even an air head like you must realise that invading Iraq was totally uncalled for and has caused huge loss of life.

Are we supposed to forget this? If some moron accidentally drives a dynamite laden truck into your house and murders and maims you, your family and half of your neighbours are you going say oh don't worry about it I'm sure you're a nice guy really?

Well, then, someone should tell Bush that you do not defend the Constitution by dismantling it.

And, in case you haven’t noticed, most Americans get their news from FOX and conservative talk radio (THEY are the mainstream media). If they cannot spin the Iraq story, then you can be sure that the truth is even worse than you think..

Compared to Clinton, Bush has been given a free ride – and done a he!!-of-a worse job.

The current administration has offered at every turn a horrifying lesson in how not to lead. Its MO has been this: suppress dissent (rather than encourage it), surround yourself by sycophantic yes-men (rather than objective views), bring in personal loyalists for key positions (rather than people who actually know what they're doing), vilify those who disagree or propose a better way. And oh yes: accuse even long-term like-minded allies of cowardice and treachery if they don't kiss your a s s 24/7. No term of opprobrium is too low for somebody who refuses to bow to your will: that's the way to lead the Free World. (Not.)

The US military has been in Iraq for 3 years (longer than WW2) fighting at most 20,000 insurgents to & they aren't even close to winning that war how can it be that the most powerful military in the world can't beat a few thousand insurgents in a 3rd world country? And I sorry to say that since Bush is the Commander and Chief of the US military all the blame is on his shoulders (not his cabinet who are just ADVISORS).

That doesn't change the fact he's mentally deficient and has all the brainpower of an amoeba. And let's not forget he's a Grade-A, First Class Coward as well. Or do you call his outstanding service during the Vietnam War as being heroic?

These people are termites. I'm just comforted to know nothing they say goes anywhere. It seems they have breed a number of political monsters within the Democratic party. Reprobates! As a matter of fact unless I know it's a good Democrat I will make it a point not to vote for them just because of their ways...

There is a high standard that the president must be held to. To bad that the other party must think he has to be perfect and is not allowed to make human mistakes, that each and everyone of us make only because we are human.

Oh my God....you got me crying.....you better start reading BETWEEN the lines................I don't think the terror would be so bad if he had stayed in pursuit of Bin Laden. It's not about liberals/conservatives.............ITS ABOUT WAR! Ask yourself why we are in Iraq. I hope that you don't anwser with the same anwser that Bush gave during his debate with Kerry. (they attacked us) NO NO NO! Be careful! There comes a time that Americans push for change...and they got it in Congress and the Senate. Next...it will be a Democratic President....Watch and See!
