This is not a rule. Maybe an exception. And men are no less selfish either. Anyway, try your luck with some other woman. Hopefully your outlook towards them would change.

I second vetcsm... you cant generalize, just becoause one gal or few gals didnt accept your "proposal of friendship". You should understand that they can't be freinds with each and every guy who wants to make friends with them. And besides freindship is not something which is to be asked for, it nurtures with time. Have you ever asked a guy to make freinds with you? I'm sure the answer is no. The despeartion won't lead you anywhere. spend some time with the gal you want to be friends with, and you should understand that she has the right to say yes or no.

Dear friend, plz do not generalize a single experience. How many women have you found to do so.. of course, ur friendship proposal should have some logical standpoint... since, the mans' world is ever after them... naturally they r expected to reject unnecessary litications.
Better we can deem it from our personal and kin's standpoint.

Its not true. May be in ur case u have found it thats y u r saying this but infact it doesn't depend on man or woman, it depends on person some are selfish. It can be man or woman.

selfishness is a bad quality found in male and female equally... better you should find mistakes in your own behaviour for encountering such situations...

you are absolutly right, most of time its like that only, it might be because woman always look for social security in india, moreover some of them dont have that courage to have this type of friendship...you on my experiance on net, i make out something that..this days some of them are doing like for a just a fun or a time pass..its most unlike to indian woman, but it happens.
i would like to request you that, never seek this type of friendship with indian woman, as there are significant chances that , yiu might ended up feeling "ditch" in this process at some point of time...coz THEY ALWAYS LOOKING FOR PRAISE FOR THEMSELF & ALWAYS THEY ALWAYS THINK THAT "WHAT A MAN WILL PROVIDE ME IN ANY KIND OF RELATIONSHIP?"..so better to dont expect friendship with them
