My wife is the best woman I have ever met. We dated in high school but she broke up with me for kissing another girl to get rid of that girl (a trap by my sister but that's another story). Many years later we got back together after becoming who we are and living our lives our way. Before getting engaged, on the way home from a deployment, I (typical story, but true) went out with some friends at a Naval port, got super drunk and slept with a girl. (yes, I am an IDIOT) She knew several months before we were married. She still was willing to give me another chance. THANK GOD!!! Years later we are very happy together and she is the best possible friend and lover I can imagine. We share a life that is almost storybook sickening to most. I love her so deeply it hurts when I am not with her. Okay, lets see what you have to say.

never let her go. and never disrespect her again.

i admire that you feel remorse for what you did.

it's a shame that certain people have people that treat them this good and want to leave them anyway, thinking they will be happy with someone else.

i'm glad you didn't, though, look what you would be missing.

Everyone makes mistakes. She was willing to put that behind her and trust you to do the right thing from now on, you have a very understanding wife. You should be very happy that you have each other. Just don't get so drunk next time unless you're with her!

When you love something set it free if it comes back it was meant to be. Your marriage is fine. She REALLY LOVES YOU because if she did not love you, the two of you would not be married. We all learn from our mistakes. Just do your best to keep her happy. Your marriage is a lot like mine but no affairs in mine. Keep your past in the past and look at a bright future together.

Good for you two. It is nice to hear a couple who went through hard times, but stuck it through. That's wonderful.

Well it sounds like you two worked through your past, just keep it in the past.

You are a lucky guy. God bless your marriage. Just don't do anything like this again. Don't hurt her.

You didn't ask a question, which kind of defeats the purpose of this forum. I'll ask one for you.
Why do you feel that she shouldn't be with you?
