"Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered....." He often gets the credit for that, but where did he borrow it from? (author & work?) (No it's not homework, I have the book in front of me).

This is an extract of a Thomas Paine essay and is part of a collection called "The Crisis"

The collection of work dates from the American Revolution in 1776 and document his views on struggling for independence. He continued The Crisis articles for many years.
