I have a Ford Taurus 1998... I'm pulling a Radiator from a 1999 Taurus GL. It seems that my radiator is pressurized... or something... when i took off mine... it made lots of noise... but when i took off the radiator for a GL it didn't. I know pressurized radiators are for higher performance veichals but I just want to know if it will work. The radiator shape is the same... i just have to change the hoeses.

This is limited knowledge, but it could be an issue to consider. In 3rd generation Taurus' trim levels usually indicated accessory upgrades from the base models (i.e. power seats, better radio). What you may be up against is different engines. The stock engine for a '96-'99 is a 3.0 Vulcan. Some Taurus' came with an optional higher output 3.0 Duratech engine. Since engines weren't mentioned maybe that is what you're up against. Good Luck!

All radiators are pressurized- if they weren't the water would just boil out. I'm pretty sure all taurus radiators 96-2007 (excluding SHO) were the same

These should be the same. The only thing that might cause a difference is the size of the engines. If they look the same, bolt up the same, I would use it.

Good Luck and Happy Holidays

They are EXACTLY the same.

They are ALL pressurized. (or should be 14-16 psi)
