There is no such day as a 'safe day' to have unprotected sex. Less than 30% of women actually ovulate (release an egg) on day 14 of a 28 day cycle.
Just so you know a collegue of mine got pregnant whilst having intercourse on her period and judging from my pregnancy dates I appear to have ovulated just a week after menstruation and got pregnant.
It also appears from research that we don't always ovulate the same time every month.
Hope this helps

Yes it is normally around the 14th day to concieve! But every women is different.....it could be the 10th day or the 16th....but if you're wondering when you would, then check into some "ovi" kits and things like that!

First of all if you are serious about having a child you should consult with your doctor, if you are planning it out. Honey, God will allow you to get pregnant when he is ready, all that mambo jumbo talk about before and after your period is dumb. You ovulate 1 to 2 weeks before your period, which you can definitely get pregnant, and if you are very fertile its possible you can get preg. right after but not likely.

Well there are always chances so you should not take chances when you have a perfectly good way to prevent pregnancy that is to use contraceptives.
