Nobody developed the flat Earth theory. It was an ancient belief. But we do know Galileo is one of those who proved the Earth is not flat.

concepts=a word that is held up to show both meaning and understandings that coincide with theories to navigation

to further understand the word concept it would have been more like black magic to try and explain, why the ships disappeared in the horizon than it was to say it is gone from sight and here lies the word concept to continue and idea through to making proof of reasoning's
