Normally when people go away on business trips the company pays for it and /or he knows way before the time and has the cash and lets you know when he is leaving. No company lets people know at the last minute. Why not phone the company and find out if they sent him and who else attended.Otherwise, ask him whats cutting...

I've worked in the hotel business. They will keep the reservation under the persons and or Company name that pays for the room.
Of course most companies, if it is business related; make sure to put their employees name on the room incase other business associates or they, themselves need to contact the employee by phone, fax, etc. If it was a business trip, they have to know what room to locate a specific employee at and so do others attending the meeting from other companies.
Something smells here. Number one, anyone who travels that works for a reputable company have people in place to book travel arrangements and book under the actual company name (and) employee name. Then from there an itinerary is put together by the booking agent and someone within the company for the specific person that is traveling on business related matters. From there.....everyone knows where this traveling person is staying, along with the assigned room number provided to them "under their own personal name" and representative of the specific company at the time of check in. Again, this is done so that their corporate office or what have you can contact this specific person at any given time.
Also, I am a bit confused as to the "paid her back in cash" comment. It is a given that companies provide an expense budget to traveling employees. This is the way that the actual company can track expenses within their accounting department. It is all a paper trail and for the benefit of the company that the employee works for. So, the "paid back in cash" is total bs.
There had or has to be some *slap n' tickle* going on somewhere among the ranks, because this totally makes no sense. There may have quite well been a cash reimbursement to this female - however, it was most definately not for business purposes.
That is the way that is is done. Period.
P.S. I would be asking your husband these questions; what the name of the convention or meeting was. Then contact the Hotel and they will gladly give you the confirmation of what convention or meeting took place during that period. Even if it was not hosted at that specific hotel, they have a dept that is called "Convention & Meetings" and they know all of the conventions and meetings being held in that specific city at all times. That is how they make their money; by "knowing" what is going on in the city. Good luck!

Im sorry but i think he's not being truthful to you, all the companies i know pay for the hotel rooms and most of everything else, even mastercards etc.. Just like the other lady said i would confront the coworker and him, something dosen't smell right. Just be strong, i know it is hard, but you deserve to be happy. Good luck

Uum, I don't know if I would believe this one. Why couldn't he get the money from you or someone else? How could he check into the hotel without her identification if the room was infact in her name? If it walks like a duck.....9 times out of 10, its a duck! Just keep your eyes open.

How is it that you're just now finding out about this? Did he bring it up or did you just find out that "she" to that meeting also and put 2 and 2 together yourself? Do you think it's still happening, or is he coming right home after work. I think you should believe him but don't let your guard down. Ask others that work there if they spend time together. Hire a PI. Maybe add more info to your question and maybe we can help.

The first responder it it deadon. The guy who said all men are dishonest . . . which planet are you from that you can speak for the rest of us guys? Men are honest.
Sit down w/your husband and have a heart-to-heart . . . perhaps even consider seeing a counselor together.

What kind of relationship do you and your husband have, do you argue a lot, do you two trust each other? Tough questions to ask yourself. No one can have a relationship without trust, just go straight to him face to face and look him in his eyes and ask him. If he flinches or smirks or blinks, then you have your answer.
