Since the majority of Americans are Christian the liberals feel they must fight it. Since a minority of Americans are muslim and now people dislike them (oh, i dont know, maybe because of 9/11) the liberals feel they must fight for their rights to do whatever they want

I'm not offended by either holiday - worship as you choose. And respect my right to not hold your beliefs and say Happy Holidays because I happen to think that this is a time that should be inclusive rather than exclusive.
I am offended by any fundamentalist who think his or her religion should be the only one allowed any acknowledgment or ought to act as the supreme law for the entire land. If Muslims attempt to display a copy of the Koran in an American court house I want the ACLU to sue them as well.
I want both freedom of religion and freedom from religion.
Christmas is not the problem - fundamentalist Christians who want to ram Christ down my throat are the problem.
Ramadan is not the problem - fundamentalists Muslims that want to ram Allah down my throat are the problem.
If you really give a damn about the spirit of your holiday you should work on taking it back from consumerism rather than carping about whether or not I send out holiday cards instead of Christmas cards.

Now that one I couldn't tell ya. I don't know. But I'm sure it's not just Liberals, and sure they're not all offended by it.
Merry Christmas to ya in the religious sense and the American sense.

Why do you continue to make ridiculous sweeping generalizations?
I am not offended by either. And I can't think of one Liberal who is offended by Christmas.

Well, I'm a liberal, and I am offened by neither. I say to everyone, "Merry Christmas!" I don't bother to include every other holiday created in December. Ramadan? Not offened by that too much. In fact, I don't care.

I think because Ramadan seems to signify the spiritual /religion aspect. Christmas is about how much money we spend. The cost of gifts. How much money stores made or how much they will make. That new toy for betty or tom.
MONEY ! MONEY! MONEY!. Should I say it again?

Why are many conservatives for Christmas, but seem to have a huge problem with trying to actually follow anything that Jesus ever taught?

Cuz their spineless wimps. They'd sure hate to offend anybody. But its the Christamas lovers who are effected by this . My kids school which is 99 percent white christians cannot sing christmas songs because it might piss of the jewish community, or the illegals. If you dont like X-Mas programs stay home let us enjoy christmas the way it was supposed to be honored. IT WAS MEANT TO CELEBRATE CHRIST'S BIRTHDAY. What about us no one says anything about them ruining our christmas Let us sing jingle bells, frosty the snowman, etc... But NOOOO, we cant make the 7/11 owner, taxi driver upset were too scared they might start another jihad. It all comes down to OUR GOVERNMENT WANTS THAT OIL.
