Hi I'm redoing my room and I'm indecisive about what i should do either a surf,or fashion theme.?

the colors id like if i did a fashion theme would be pink, gold, maybe black and white with pink. if i did a surfing theme i would like to use pink and lime green . Any ideas? thanx!

Pink and black and white is really easy to do - you'll have a ton of options. I love pink and lime together, too. You could do pink, black, and white, and then throw in some lime as accents (like pillows, lampshades, a throw rug, candles, and so on). I'd say no on the gold just because it probably won't be in style as long at the other, more classic combos you chose and it's harder to find.

Ok, but

Surfing theme includes the colors of the ocean, blue and green, and somehow pink & limegreen don't make surf.

Fashion is any color you see as fashionable.

Think a little more - what colors do you keep going back to when you go shopping, what colors make you feel that's it fun and your "home", those colors are what you should use.
Forget what I think, it's what you think that matters.

I redid my bedroom to a white chocolate color - which is really like like cream color, and it works for me. And it's easy to change colors, because I just change the comfortor, pillow shams and skirt for a totally different look.

Target has great stuff too. I'd go with the fashion theme. Its much easier to match that color scheme. Lime green is always a different shade, so I dont think it'd look too good when you mix and match different lime green things you bought from different places.
