Ok, so I have been broken up with my ex (obviously) but the whole time we were good friends and kept in touch. (we were also in different states) now, we decided to be back together because we realized we love each other deeply but we we want to get married and move in together. Is that a bad idea?? because of the military, it was not our choice to live in the same state. and because of the military, the only way to get THE SAME DUTY STATION together is if we get married. Is that a bad idea???

You say you love one another, here is a test of sorts to give yourself (don't marry for convenience), 1. Do you want to only be with him for the rest of time? 2. Do you want to maybe someday have a family? 3. Are you willing to sacrifice all of what you worked for for him? If your answer is yes to all three of these questions then I say you are ok to get married and if you had even one question you had doubt then hold off. I know the ideal relationship is to be together but you're in the military and they can send either one of you away at anytime. They won't ask you they will tell you and then what? If you love one another the distance won't matter and your relation ship will persevere. Good luck to both of you!
