Well, candy is loaded with sugar, artificial color, and artificial flavor, so it's not the best thing you could be eating simply because they have no nutritive value. They're not hazardous, though. Just make sure you're eating as healthy a diet as you can. I ate them, too.

I craved hot and spicy things all through my pregnancy. Assuming they don't upset your stomach, eat as many hot things as you like. No harm comes to the baby, and it doesn't affect his position. The flavor of everything you eat is shared with the baby through your amniotic fluid. My 10-month-old loves things like curry and taco meat, and I think it was because of my spicy food addiction!

Tamales are actually pretty good for you. They are made from ground corn, a few spices, a bit of lard (like crisco) and whatever kind of filling. My wife ate many during all three of her pregnancies and never had a problem. If you are worried about hat peppers being used don't. If the tamales are authentic they won't be very spicy. Even if they are the peppers have capsicum in them which will helps to control bleeding. There will be more effect on your own body than on the baby, if you are not used to spicy foods.

as long are you are already used to eating them, you will be fine! but be careful only eat a few at first, it wont hurt the baby, but you might be hurting from the heart burn. The baby will be fine, may even come out eating hot tamales!! LOL

I don't believe so - but it could cause the baby to completely turn around. When I was pregnant - I ate a lot of spicey food and my unborn child made a complete 180 and was a breached baby. He was a healthy baby but turned around completely. So you never know.

No, just that your own system is different, so it could cause you more pain.
