...trip over something, knock something over or your knees pop loudly?
Sucks when you are trying not to wake the kids but the floor you are walking on echos every step you make.
Anyone else have an experiance like that? Is it as funny as when I slipped on my son's toy truck and flipped over backwards? I didnt think it was funny at the time, but I can picture myself flying through the air now...lol...

One time I got out of the shower & decided to go downstairs for something. I slipped on the second step & slid the rest of the way down with my butt making a loud thump on every step. Apparently the noise woke my wife, after a few moments I heard her ask "who's at the door"

A few years ago when my son was living at home and working the night shift, he would try to slip in the house quietly so as to not wake anyone.
Our dog (a jack russel mini schnauzer mix with a sick sense of humor) would hear him coming and hide in various places waiting quietly to ambush him. Many nights I was awakened by a loud bark followed by a scream and a few choice words!

I don't think I have actually. lol. I have lived in my house so long, I can go from one end to the other without hitting anything. of course, i do just live in a trailer, so when i stand at one end, i can see the door at the other end, but still i have a hall, through the living room, down the hall in the kitchen to the other side. lol

I can't pinpoint what is odd about this question; something is though....

Well, yes. I've had little noises happen all the time when trying to be quiet. Oddly enough, I'm the "quietest" coworker or friend who people usually lose track of in a building coz I'm too quiet for them to notice. :)

yeah when i was 13 and tried sneaking back into my parents house. i knocked over the table by the front door, which landed on the dog which caused him to whine and bark. woke up te whole freaking house.
