Recently I've been constantly tweaking with the services settings by looking at recommendations from certain websites however I've regret doing this and realized that I would've been better off just leaving the services the way Microsoft set them. Is there a way to restore the services back to their proper settings?

i was haveing the same thing.. GO TO ALL PROGRAMS and go to set program access and default's.... and check the microsoft window. and then click ok this might work it will set all windows default's

I am not sure which services you are tweaking, but most of them should have a restore to default setting. That will put them back the way they came from the factory. Be careful when reading all of those speed up your computer articles. Some are of and some are just lousy.
