My husbands mom came over yesterday and talked me into doing a test this morning....it showed a line but it was really really faint...and it looks just like the one on 11 dpo http://www.peeonastick.com/hpt/dollartree.html on this site the first one it looks just like that one...but now im scared its an evaporation line or something or maybe i just want it so bad im like seeing stuff...what do you think?! i know i sound a little crazy i just im soooo unsure!! Look at the test on that site and tell me what you think..?

Hi there. the same thing happened to me months ago (I'm 3 months pregnant now). i actually used 3 sticks and i got the same answer from all of them.....one dark line and one faint. sometimes i think i want a baby so much that i am hallucinating the other line or something.i guess the best bet is to but a digital one. it clearly has the world Pregnant" or "not pregnant". i did exactly that i was in cloud 9 when i found out that i am actually pregnant. so...good luck...
p/s: u might wanna get the digital "Clearblue" brand. it's a bit pricey but when it comes to this kinda things i guess we wun wanna take any chances...good luck and merry x mas!

When the urine pases over the test ling, and the HCG hormone is not present you can SOMETIMES just BARELY see a clear UNCOLORED line if you hold the test just right. The evaporation line, that you're talking about. Generally you have to wait until long after you've used the test for that to show, or hold it sideways in just the right light if its just the right kind of test, and you can kinda make it out.
Anytime you have a line that you can see looking straight at the test, that has any any any color what so ever, its a positive.
If you wait a couple days and take another test, the line should be a little darker... if you wait a week or better, it should be obviously colored.

Congrats honey. You can get blood work results back in a few days if just just run down to your local clinic. Then you wont have to wait and wonder.
It doestn matter how many days past ovulation you are, so long as you have hormones present enough to be passed in your urine. And aparently you do :)

I checked out the site, if it looks like the one on the site then I guess its a positive result.
But if it is really faint like you said then I guess it's just a Eva line as they say that positive results are never wrong, but you got to know the difference between a positive result and a faint Eva line. If you are at all unsure then I would sugest that you get a proffesional to take a look and I`m sure they will know the difference between a positive result and a Eva line.
I guess because you want a positive result you may be seeing things that aint there, maybe get somebody else to take a look and since they are not wanting a positive result they may be able to see it clearly with no other influences to affect their judgement.

Wait a couple of days and do another test. The longer you wait, the brighter the line. The line reacts to certain hormones in your urine. The longer you are pregnant (even a few days) the higher the hormone level, hence the brighter the line. Dont be in a rush! There is nothing you can do either way, but wait it out!! my test line was so faint i didnt believe i called the doctors made an appointment and they did another test and it came out positive but again another faint line the doctor said you are just pregnant i was only like two weeks or something like that i would take another one just to make sure but usally a line is a line good luck

Congrats I believe you are. Either go to the doctor and get a blood test or if you don't like needles the doctor has stronger urine test that is more accurate. Last but not least wait more time and retake the test. Blessings

Go ahead and pick up another one and do it tomorrow and maybe the line won't be so faint, then do a little dance around the bathroom! hehe

Plan of action;
1. Do another test to check.
2. Ask a doctor to do a blood test to monitor the HCG hormone. If you are pregnant this is more accurate in dating he pregnancy.

I think your pregnant, If you read the test within the time limit and saw the line then it doesnt matter how faint....A line is a line! I suggest testing again today or tomorrow for reassurance....

Go buy a digital test...you dont have to read any lines...it says on the stick "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant" They are like 10 dollars. Good luck!
