Usually, when you press "Print" you will see a dialogue box where you can select the number of copies you want. Maybe you have selected "10" copies there by mistake. If thats the case, change it back to 1.

U simply got to uninstall the printer driver and then restart ur computer. Afterwards, u install the driver again.
In case u dont know what a driver is, it's the cd that came along with the printer. It contains a software that is a kind of interpreter between the operating system and the applications from which u print. Just a question: have you changed ur operating system or is it the same?

At your current document which you want to print:

a) Press Ctrl-P (the print dialogue box will appear)

b) At the bottom right side of the box, you should see a "Number of copies" with an option to choose how many you want.

c) Change that number to whatever number of pages you want printed : 1 for a single page, 2 for 2 pages, etc.

d) Click on "Print" at the bottom of the dialogue box and that should solve it for you.

You didn't say what the HP model is, but try the help section of your HP manual, either the paper copy or online. There are so many possibilities that it's impossible to give you a good answer.
