Arg, the Wii has expensive games, but it can play Gamecube games, should I spend the $150 extra on the Wii. Or should I get a PS2?

If money's tight, you could get a used cube now, and upgrade to a wii in a year or two.

Well, PS2 and a gamecube are now considered "obselete" now that the new generation of systems are out. I know that the Wii can play Gamecube games and I think (I'm not sure thought) that the PS3 can play PS2 games. The Wii is MUCH cheaper than the PS3 (and easier to find too) but the PS2 and Gamecube are even cheaper than we Wii. I reccomend you get one of the new systems. Sony and Nintendo are not going to keep releasing games for their old systems, so they are going to die out.

I have a PS3. My husband loves it. Says the grafix are great. Never seen anything better. We also have kids though. The games are not for them. There really aren't any family games for PS3, nless you want to play PS2 games which you can do but picture is not as good and games made for PS3 only. Depending on who we play it will factor in. If it is for you the PS3 would be great but if it's for anyone else, the Wii might be better for choices.

I actually have all of those and that i imagine you may flow with the PS3 the pics are large they could play DVD's, blue ray and all the different playstation video games, you may flow on the internet, they have rather large video games made for them and the record is going on. Wii's are sturdy yet you should have alot of potential to play it do not get a activity dice or playstation !!!

why buy gamecube when you can play games from the gamecube on wii?

In my opinion, the PS2 is the best out of these three consoles.
