i remember watching this old scary movie with my dad that was about killer birds (crows?) Now contrary me saying that it's scary, it's not. It was one of the funniest movies I've seen becuase the birds were so fake looking, especially when they crashed into the walls. Other than that, I think it took place in a rural area.

It was Hitchcock's The Birds (1963).
It was filmed at the small Californian coastal town of Bodega Bay. Seen it loads of times, and never thought the special effects were as bad as everyone makes out.
