Something may be wrong with the transmission.
That or like the other guy said, your clutch might be messed up

wear on moving parts in the gearbox, oil problems [wrong grade,needs changing], clutch wear, and/or shift and linkage wear - if an air shift, check colletts on air lines.

check the slave cyl. in your truck to make sure you have cluch fluid in it . it may have sprung a leak
