If it's popular, Celtic and song by a red headed woman it is most likely Loreena McKennit. If one of my guys were home (both big Celtic music fans) I could tell you for sure.

I'm pretty sure envy12's got it. It's most likely Sadeness by Enigma (it's about the Marquis de Sade). The song has some kind of flute instrument in it, if that helps.
The red-headed woman would be Sandra Cretu - she provided vocals for Enigma.
