PRIOR to the Christmas Day?

Yes and the most meaningful is when my husband was recovering from brain cancer and was out of work with a family of 5 to support. I was working but we had little money for Christmas and were too proud to ask. A week before Christmas, my Uncle came by with $600 and said Santa left it under his pillow with instructions to give to me so the kids could have a nice Christmas. That still brings tears to my eyes because my Uncle couldn't really afford to do that...He is just a generous man with a heart of gold! I love you Uncle Jim!!

Yes, I received a veyr comfortable pair of silk pyjamas from someone I was seeing over a year ago, and it's a very meaningful pre-Christmas gift to me eventhough we're not seeing each other anymore.

Yesterday my sister made me an Uncle, so that's a wonderful pre-Christmas gift for our whole family. She's a welcome new addition, that almost instantly put us all in the Christmas spirit. I didn't have any Myrrh to give her, so I'll be shopping for that today lemme tell ya. :-)

I typically never did. I always had to wait.

This year one could only hope.
