A friend has a potential b/f who we suspect of lying about his past -- a LOT. He claims to have been a Colonel in the US Army; a Secret Service agent on the Clinton Presidential detail; and a professional baseball umpire. Is there a list of professional baseball umps, major AND minor league, past and present, that is authoritative? We'd love to catch him in just one lie, irrefutably.

This guy is either full of poo, or he was a minor-league ump, iit seems. Any help with MINOR league umpires?

I doubt its possible that he had time to be all those things, as they are all three individual jobs that require years of training to become.

Ask him some good questions, such as when he was in the Secret Service, what department of the government was he under...Most people say the Executive of the Justice Dept, but the Secret Service is actually part of the Treasury Dept.

initially, get rid of the DH rule. As somebody suggested previously, it became created to spice up attendance, and attendance would not desire to any extent further boosting. this way in Interleague play, there are not anymore video games the place David Ortiz is hitting DH for the Sox, whilst some 2d string guy is hitting DH for the opponent. shop it honest human beings. Weekly blood checks are mandatory. it particularly is a shame that gamers like Barry Bonds and Roger Clemems are even affiliated with the actual greats, consisting of Hank Aaron and Nolan Ryan. The All megastar sport ought to easily be an exhibition sport, that would not come to a type a damned ingredient. The group with the extra useful checklist in the international series ought to have abode field benefit.

The only MLB umpire with military service is a former Marine. I forgot his name, but a few years ago a fan ran onto the field at Cellular Field (New Cominsky Park) and jumped the umpire. I think his name is Hernandez, but forgot his first name.
